Growth Marketing Manager, LATAM

Babbel is seeking an experienced and skilled Growth Marketing Manager to spearhead our regional performance and growth strategy in Latin America (LATAM).

About the role:

This is a new role at Babbel, which blends the opportunity to build something from the ground up while having support within a larger growth marketing organization. You should have a deep understanding of the region and the markets within it, be able to synthesize information into actionable insights and work with our channel marketing teams to develop strategies to accelerate our regional growth.

Responsibilities: 

  • Be the hands-on lead for the strategy and execution of all marketing channels across Latin America to ensure the campaigns deliver against growth and efficiency targets
  • Analyze consumer and competitor patterns to recognize improvements in messaging, user experience, and media investment
  • Partner with various teams across the organization (including Digital and Offline marketing, CRM, Content, Product, Analytics) to understand the local challenges and develop scalable, regional performance marketing tactics to address such challenges.
  • Ensure the Babbel story is globally consistent while being locally relevant across languages, cultures and markets 
  • Coordinate the localization process and provide guidance to in-house creative teams in development of creative, copy and marketing campaigns
  • Ideate and execute rigorous a/b testing to achieve consistent optimization and improvement in marketing campaign performance that reduces acquisition costs while scaling volume
  • Manage relationship with platform reps, third party agencies, ad networks, other service providers and vendors
  • Build and maintain performance reporting and analysis across the region - aggregate and analyze data from a variety of sources, highlighting successes, failures trends and opportunities

Ideal Background & Experience

  • Experience working with LATAM markets
  • Knowledge across a range of marketing tactics and channels (conversion optimization, CRM/email communications, SEO, paid search, paid social, offline, etc.)
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills a big plus
  • Creative problem-solver with a growth mindset
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use research, hard data and metrics to challenge assumptions, generate credible forecasts, and solve problems
  • Familiarity with data visualizations and analytics tools (such as Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - able to establish strategic direction and execute effectively in a global, matrixed organization
  • Experience in B2C tech company or at a subscription-based business is a major plus

Salary Range: $80,000/yr - $115,000/yr, bonus eligible and generous 401K matching
